Policies
PETS
We have enjoyed the presence of up to two cats in a house at a time. Please don’t apply if you are deathly allergic or this would make you unhappy. We do not want a dog in the house.
COSTS
Utilities Included: Internet, Regular Garbage. Gardening/lawn mowing.
Utilities shared: Electricity, gas, water and sewer.
If you want to use your own window air conditioner for your room (not provided), there is a $50 fee for reasonable use for the summer season.
Additional charge: $30 per month per room - fee for basic cleaning of all common areas and bedrooms
Up to one cat OK with additional cat deposit $250, no dogs, ask about other pets
LEASE TERMS
Lease term: 6 months minimum (unless specifically a 3-month summer-only internship), then month-to-month. Note that although we have a valid Innkeeper’s License from the City in order to rent out rooms, we have no intention of taking any short term guests. One roommate per room avoids overload in common areas.
Deposit: $1200 plus first month’s rent prorated according to date
HOUSE RULES
No smoking anything, and no drugs on the premises (house and land) please - no exceptions. No subletting. We require every roommate takes out their own renters' insurance. We allow occasional short-term guests only.
